Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
The Questions That Sparked a Movement
In 2015, our founder, Charles Butt, posed a series of transformative questions:
How can we prepare Texas students with the skills needed for a 21st-century workforce?
How can technology enhance learning in meaningful and equitable ways?
How do we create systems that sustain innovative teaching across Texas, a state known for its diversity and scale?
Those questions became our charge.
Through the Raising Blended Learners initiative, we worked alongside school leaders, teachers, and students for eight years to design, test, and scale what effective, student-centered learning can look like. What we found wasn’t just innovation – it was best practice.
Now, nearly a decade later, we’ve compiled the lessons, stories, and outcomes into one comprehensive multimedia report. Inside you’ll find:
A roadmap of our approach
Case studies of blended in action
Insights from teachers and students
Data on student outcomes and system-level change
Key lessons learned
A look at what’s next for personalized learning in Texas
This isn’t just a look back. It’s a playbook for the future, shaped by the leaders, educators, and students who proved that blended and personalized learning can work at scale, and is the future of teaching and learning.
